I'm looking for information on my car's history and I was wondering if anyone had resources for information on VIN 2588253. It is a 1973 2002.

as the last '73 built in the calendar year was 2587307. Average monthly production was just at 800 cars, so yours might have been built in March. Mine is 2587090 and was built on 14 Dec 72.
