Double link timing chain question

Hello, I have had the head of my 02 and I have put the timing chain joiner in a safe place so I wouldn't loose. Except i can't remember where. The timing chain is only a few 1000' k's old and it would be a shame to get another.

I thought that i might be able to go to a specialist chain place and get a joiner there. Does anyone know the dimensions of those timing chain? pitch, width etc? are they just a generic chain or a specialist BMW item?

www.mr-auto-parts.com

and similar sites-

(maybe rockauto.com?)

I just saw one for sale on one of those and

thought- 'dang, what a good idea to have a spare, huh?'

and promptly forgot about it!
