My owners handbook says 0.024 + 0.004 (0.6 + 0.1)

Is that like saying .024 is small and .028 is large? If thats the case, should I run .026? Normally I'd just gap something and move on but since I'm trying to get the car to run I want to eliminate any weird things going on.

I run a 38/38, 9.5:1 pistons, and gap my Bosch W8DCs @ .024 and the car runs great.
