I was wondering if there was a good way to do a valve adjustment on my '02 with out the aid of a floor jack? This is the first time I've done one on my car, and so I want to get some advice on the easiest way to do it. Any help would be great!

the engine over to properly position the valves is to put the car in 4th gear and roll it back and forth 'till the valves in a given cylinder are both closed. Adjust the valves per the manual, then roll the car backwards for forwards until another cylinder's valves are closed, and so on...

Easy to do.

even easier is remove all the plugs (might as well inspect!) and rotate motor with fan or even the alternator pulley... ;)
