Got the '02 on the road today

Registered the car yesterday, and drove it out and about for the first time today. Man, it backfires every time you let off the gas and a lot in third. I thought something was slamming the underside of the car, because the shifter actually moved!

It runs a little choppy, so that needs to be looked into, and it leans around turns like a jeep and makes me a little nervous. Its got some get up and go, but not a whole lot right now. *sigh* i wish it was in better shape, but after getting used to having the pedals so close together, i think ive gotten the hang of driving the thing. I cant wait till were able to put the time into it that it needs and get it running propperly.(and stop backfiring!)

Oh and it also needs the downshift into third and downshift into second syncros replaced. :(

They look great! Thanks so much for them! They are 100 times more comfortable than the ones that i had in there. I was bummed about not being able to take it to lime rock. :( Its getting new rears springs put in tomorrow and hopefully the ebrake cable fixed so it stops rolling away from me when i park.
