I thought it would be ugly after seing water pour out of #2 plug hole when cranking engine. The head gasket was deffinaetly damaged around #2 but was not broken. I don't really know what the next step would be. Any help for a beginner would be great. thanks

Sure looks like a clean #2 piston and head. Sure was burning some antifreeze. I would suspect a cracked head also. Might be easier to just get another head.

I would get it pressure tested first, it is a cheap way to be certain your head is bad.

check the head to make sure it isn't warped. Warped heads leak even when the head gasket doesn't blow.
