Was i just dreaming or didn't Lee ask about what pans from later cars might fit up to the 2002 and clear the subs etc. My car is up for inspection right now and it leaks a little at the pan- not too much but the inspection here in japan is strict. A nice flat pan would nake it so much easier to seal up. I have tried to seal it perfectly a cuople of times and used the ball peen to flatten the holes without luck.

get the area very clean, pressure washer and degreaser, then a bit of black RTV silicone should fix it for you or pull the pan and braze or soilder the leak. No need for a new pan. TMHO Beaner7102

Actually what I'm interested in is an aluminum pan with a flat sealing surface. The stamped steel one seems to continue leaking due to the way the bolts tweek the bolt holes. I've tried to re-flatten them but its not as easy as one would think. Might try it in a press next time.
