engine and drivetrain timing cover bolts

Does anyone know the correct size bolts needed to attach a non tii timing cover? I don't have any of them as the engine I bought did not come with them or the cover. I just picked up a cover from 002, but they did not seem to know the sizes etc. I will need. Any sources on the www that have this sort of info? I basically need to figure out what sizes and quantity I need for the whole front of the engine. Timing cover, water pump and everything else.

Thanks. Very cool! Should I assume that "M8X28"(manifold studs as an example) means 8mm x 28mm?

Your assumtion is correct. If you see an X in the qty field, that means the car uses more than 10.

You picked an interesting example though. BMW's system is wrong on exhaust manifold stud length. They should be M8 x 45. I used 38mm OK but it would have been nice to have a little more length.
