Weber Tuning needed

In addition to my '02 I have a '70 2800CS which has dual Weber 32/36's I believe. I really screwed them up by turning what I thought was the idle speed screw as well as the fuel/air mixture screw.

The idle speed screws I thought are accessed from the passenger side of the car and the screws face the passenger side of the to the left of the car on the left hand side of the carb?

The mixture screw is buried under a wire connection and the head of the scres faces the front of the car and is totally not accessible other than with a swiss army knife screwdriver based on the angle of the head.

If anyone can confirm I am messing with these the right way I would appreciate it.
