I was at the event today. That Touring was somthing else. Did the guy come up from Maryland just for this event? It's kind of sad that the car travels around in a trailor.

Bill just finished the car day before yesterday! He will drive the heck out of it I'm sure! Cut him some slack, it's kinda hard to do a shake down drive 400 pluss miles to an event and then drive back.

Jonathin, I think there were about 35 o2's there.

Thanks to all who posted pics. Bill's car is giving me a serious case of touring lust.

I'm sure that Bill would have preferred to drive it. If you read his project blog, he still has to sort out some fuel injection issues before the car is driveable.

You beat me to the answer, John!

for putting the event together for the 15th time.

As always, these events and cars are really about the people!

Frank, sorry if the trailer offended you. There is not even 5 miles on that rebuilt motor and car since I reassembled it. I am having some idle problems which I have not solved and makes me uneasy about driving it. I scrambled to get it ready to come up there and I hope your comment about coming from Maryland does indicate I am not welcome in Connecticut. This is my fourth 02 fest east event starting back in 2000. I thank for you vote on peoples choice.

I enjoy the trip to that beautiful state this time of the year and there are always very nice cars at this event like Lawrence Charlemagne's. I have always admired Lawrence's cars, the work he does and the hospitality he extends to those of us from the south at his and Ann's home. He is a fellow I admire and respect.

As Harv indicates, I do drive the yellow car I have alot. Even drove it, with two of the other fellows there today, to Colorado and back in 2002. The car has been to Watkins Glen, North Carolina several times and I believe to every Mid-Atlantic state.

I owe everyone an apology, most of all Bill. As I said the car was GREAT (in fact my dream car). I hope I didn't make it seem that you are not welcome Bill, I am just amazed when people travel such long distances to events. I don't know why, I do the same. I plan to attend The Vintage at the Vinyards next year. Hope to see you at the Bavarian Auto Show in NH at the end of the month. Once again I'm sorry if I offended anyone.
