Poor idle-cold weather

Hey-

I just got a 1975or 76 202tii, the car runs great. However when started in cool or cold weather (below 70 degrees) the car refuses to idle until it has been driven usually 30-35 feet will do the trick. Any suggestions??

If it IS a tii, it will be 1974(big bumper) or 1972/73 if small bumpers.

Get your hands on the tii Register information of setting the fuel injection.

Many adjustments, and any one of them can throw things off.

linkage lengths, fuel mixture, idle speed, timing, warm up regulator setting, cold start box...

The tii Register info and McCarneys book cover all this.

What is the idle speed when cold?

What is the idle speed when warm?

does the car show any other symptoms? Popping, stumbling?
