Have question about brake master cylinder and brake lines

Hey Ya'll,

I got a sweet deal on a Tii master cylinder/brake booster, and have switched it out.

Now the fun begins...

Besides replacing the left front brake lines (too short for longer mc/bb), I am having the devil of a time trying to reattach the other lines to the new mc.

I have tap the master cylinder with the correct thread (10mmx1.0) which matches the older mc, but I can not get the connection going with the new mc).

It will catch when threaded by have but pop loose when I start using the wrench.

Is there a trick to this or am I missing something?

Thanks for all your help!

J.E.

you start forcing anything--you don't wanna have to replace either the M/C or the brake lines!

That said, the trick I've used is to first start all the brake lines into their appropriate holes, then bolt the M/C to its bracket. Much easier than the other way 'round...works for the clutch M/C too...

cheers
