Encouragement about two proposed '02 events

Tim (M Racer) Jones...I'm still really interested in a Florida (Tampa) area '02 event, however casual. February would be great as it's still pretty cold here but reasonably nice there.

Robert in NJ...The idea you mentioned about a NJ '02 event (at the great locaton you suggested) would be great too. I've been wanting to attend another '02 event in the NE. (I'd like to go to Limerock but it's held on Sunday and that complicates travel for me) Either of you guys keep us posted on possible plans.

Skip: Another annual event that you all can consider is the Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival. This year's is on Sept. 8th with the featured marque being Porsche. The fest features: live music, wine tasting, memorabilia, race reenactments, sports car events, and a concours d'elegance. Late notice, right?? HOWEVER, next year's fest will feature BMW's. I want to go next year. The region is very beautiful, with many wineries and the Finger Lakes. Anyhow, the website for this fine annual event is: www.grandprixfestival.com. I have a brochure I picked up while in the region for a recent wedding. I hope a bunch of people will consider going in 2007.

I'm still working on it. I tried for this year, but all dates were taken through the end of this season. It also turns out that to use the location I have to talk to a company that runs the parking lot. That problably means charging a small admission fee to access the location.

Jim...I think I'm going to pretty much plan on attending the Watkins Glen event you're talking about next year...My wife and I just watched a big travel thing about the Finger Lakes region (we've wanted to go for a long time).

John Weese...I know you had to take a break...if you fire Mid-Atlantik back up please let us know. I made the long drive in 2002 and I'll surely do it again.

Robert...I'll keep my eyes open for further info!
