Took my Tii for a spin. The car was just awsome the engine purred. All of a sudden I felt loss of power. I down shift to 4th but knew and felt something was not right. Steering wheel waggled a bit and I start to see smoke and smell something burning. Luckily got home, grabbed a worklight but could not pinpoint anything. What could it be? Brakes sticking? E-brake? Electrical? Diff?

If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough.

When did you last replace the rubber flex lines to the calipers? Old ones will act like a one way valve and lock the brakes on - hence shakey steering wheel and burning brake smell. I hope that all it is. Beaner7102

Have not replaced them yet. Time to change rotors and pads anyways. Thanks for the tip and I do hope that it is all what it is.
