I figured out the misfire, rough engine problem...

I decided to switch back to the blue coil, from the flamethrower since people were saying it requires a resistor which I don't have. But that wasn't it, I decided to look into the dizzy, and what I discovered was unbelievable. I'm not even sure how it was running. The screw holding down the plate that the pertronix unit bolts down to was loose. This was causing the pick up unit and the power unit to constantly have a variable gap.

I tightened it down and reset the gap and timed the engine, WOW! It hasn't run this good before. Can't wait to take it out tonight to put some $2.53 gas in it. Pictures to follow in a little bit.

Them Noreasterners sure is quick!

Now I gotta go look at my dizzy and see if mine has loosened up as well. My car seems to have been going through a rash of "me too" type failures.
