New tie rod assemblies, center link, front bushings, and new oem brake flex hoses all around in my 1969 2000 now..I bought all of those parts about 2-3 years ago, from Wallothnesch and Bimmer Parts Company, when they were in Pottstown, PA. Now to retile my kitchen floor this week while I'm off for the week. I've only been talking about doing that for the past 2 years as well!

Naw,

you just tell everyone what a long, strange trip it's been.

Retiling the kitchen, while probably necessary, will be less fun as a finished product. I feel that way about yard work. When I feel bad that all my neighbors have better looking yards than me, I just remind myself that I'll get to the yard work just as soon as I'm done traveling around and doing other stuff.

Enjoy your week off...I seriously need to do that!!! The summer's gone & no vacation for me yet! The 2000 sounds sweet! Feels good I know!

Good luck with the tiling..."that's" a job! :-)

Steve,

If I can just find "where the water tastes like wine"!! The kitchen will be very easy to retile Steve., current floor tiles ( 12" x 12" linoleum )are probably 15-20 years old., small, eat in kitchen too and the current tiles will come up very easily. I think this will do it for the 2000, about 4k on the factory spec rebuilt motor now and it just purrs! Love having the 1 barrel Solex still on her.

Hi John,

I'm actually looking forward to retiling the kitchen floor, just have to keep the 8 month chocolate lab out of there while doing it, so I'll have to block it off. He's (Grady) getting big John, about 75 pounds now, he'll be 8 months old September 7th. Summer always flies by doesn't it?!! I've now used up most of my vacation as well, I took a week off back in late May as well. I hope you've had Hugo out for a bit,
