Need location of lower trim holes on front fenders

The very clean fenders I got from SouthBay Eric were not drilled for the lower belt trim. Since I have all the other pieces already on the car, I need to drill the two holes in the front fenders for the lower belt trim.

I will be able to line it up with the rest of the trim. Does anybody have the measurement for hole centers to the rear edge of the fender next to the door? Also, the diameter of the hole. 6mm?

Steve,

You're in luck - I think the graphic used for the 'in-work, new 2002 Registry' shows some of the dimensions you're looking for! (In fact, if you wanted any of the trim hole locations for other areas of the car, you'd be out of luck with this image.) It appears from this pic the measurements are metric, but should be good... Perhaps you can inquire where this graphic was pulled from to get more info.

Hey Steve,

If you have the parts catalog for W&N downloaded the dimemsions are shown on page S4, and I'm sure the blue book would have them. What about McCartney's?

There's two holes, one is a 5+0.1 mm dia, closest to the wheel well and the the other (near the leading edge of front door) is an 8.0+01mm, they're spaced 194mm apart with the 8mm hole 41mm from the leading edge of the front door. there is a vertical dimension of 61mm below some element thats not clear to me what it might be. some one else may know.

HTH, have fun

That 61 mm dimension is from the very subtle crease in the body, it is pretty much impossible to measure from. Better off using a straight edge from the other holes. I had to drill the holes in both fenders and both quarter panels this weekend, very stressful.
