So the motor I'm trying to do a quick rebuild on is an E12 head. I've got a 38/38, 292 schrick, and am looking for advice on pistons. Should I keep stock and just hone and throw new rings on or go with something else?

What are my options if I buy other pistons???

'79 & '80 Vespas, R75/6 + R90/6 (and a Triumph), '76 IH Scout II

E36

'71 VIN: 2574356 - Nevada, Sunroof, RUST and a really nice '76

To properly set the ring square in the cyl.,inset a piston in upside down to push the ring down alittle about 1 inch to square off the ring in cylinder. Then measure the gap of the ring using a feeler gauge & report back. Expect .020 or more.
