#3 was having issues due to wires. Pulled plugs today and found this. The motor is shaking out of control.... Any suggestions?

come on........ I bought them to run for about 3 hours and take photos of... Three of them seem to work fine...

Looking to diagnose my plugs not hear about the quality of them...

That's why I posted... to ask you...

It's some kind of sooty crap. It's buildup. There's still a gap but it's white crap surrounded by black ash...

I can't get a decent shot with things in focus but it looks exactly like this....

It's #1 cyl. Is this cyl prone to anything crazy or should I look at mechanical issues? The car is in tune, needs new cap and rotor but runs well. As soon as I put new plugs in it runs great - for about 5 minutes... then craps out again and starts shaking.... Even running it up in high rpms dosen't blow out any carbon, etc. It just sticks...... All other 3 plugs are great... just #1 bad

time for a leakdown test, possibly broken ring or something ... good luck with it! :)

Go buy a set of NGK BP6ES and run them for 30 min then post which works the best.

No brainer ------ toss the autolite shit
