clutch flex hose and fluid resevoir????

Recommended Posts

anybody know where i can dig up either of these items? i've poked around the usual suspects (on my way to ebay right now) with no luck. i want to seperate my brake and clutch fluids when i change out the slave and master, hence the extra resevoir - i'm prone to writing novels on here, so i'll stop myself right now . . . thanks . . .

i'm thinking permanent - if you're going to get wet, go swimming. i was originally thinking of using the same resevoir and plugging up the two brake outlets and even running the float electrical leads to some sort of dash telltale - but obviously i don't want to hack up the interior to install a light that will probably never be lit within the next ten years. my brain's just turning. i'm losing brake fluid at the moment and i know my brake component aren'e as clean as they should be - so if i'm going to put in new parts, i don't want them being corrupted by bad pieces in a different system . . . we'll see . . . let me know what you have . . .

hey if you're losing fluid it's most probably coming from one of two places. Either the clutch master or the leaking into the brake booster. Check your pedal box and inside the brake booster.

How much fluid are you losing? Have you checked your brakes? Lines - especially the ones to the front right along the firewall behind the motor where they rot out in the soundrpoofing? How about the line in the tunnel above the driveshaft?

Just a thought
