... to how many tools have you accidently left at your local Pick and Pulls.

My first blunder = My favorite Snap On 13mm wrench

My next and last blunder = Set of 1/2 inch sockets on a rail, 13mm to 30mm, minus the 17mm I had on the breaker bar :)

If anyone finds it lying on a Square 02 at the Hayward Pick and Pull... IT'S MINE DAMNIT!!!!!!

How come you didn't go back!?!

The Snap On 13mm was a few days later... (about 2 years ago)

The Socket rail was one day later and I was too lazy to go and be disappointed not to find it.

I was eyeing that fan for about 15 minutes... thought i would be cool from a purist perspective for a pusher fan instead of a Spal or Hayden.

We don't have pick and pulls...

but I've left tools on top of the fenders after working on the car...Whenever I leave I always roll the windows down and turn off the radio for the first few blocks....just so I can listen to that familiar chime of tools hitting the asphalt...

i've left tools behind at the richmond picknpull on two occasions.

first time was because i was rushed by the SOB blasting his horn incessantly at closing time yelling at everyone to 'pack em up'. i asked my brother to put the tools away as i gathered the loot. i didn't verify that the dimwit got them all. it wasn't till i reached for my favorite set of S-K thin-walled sockets and ratchet when i got home, that they were missing. i sent him back the following day but they were gone. oh, did i mention it was 1/2 price day. i saved $50 on parts and spent about $60 replacing my lost tools.

second time, i was also with a different brother and left a 3/8 extension. found it when i returned a couple days later for another part.

i've never lost tools when i go alone....

I think i'm the opposite...

I found a very nice set of Snap-on pliars in the dash of an old corolla once... a nice pair of loc-tite pliars still grasping a stripped bolt head... a 12" flat-blade screwdriver stabbed into a tire... and my favourite - a breaker bar lodged in the front windshield of a 240sx.

Good Times
