My Tii is Getting 25MPG!

This K-Fish pump is amazing! 32 years old and if still runs strong at 80mph(23mpg). Now my gas milage suffers when I consistantly drive at that speed but if I keep it under 70mph the mpg is great...... for a 32 year old car! My Chamonix consistantly gets 21mpg. Maybe I should convert my Polaris project to a Tii!!

5 speed?

3.45 rear end?

My /My son's tii Touring has a K 300, cam, head work and a 3.45 and an early 4 speed Porsche syncros.

She always got in the high 20's

Red Baron dual webers ,cam ,etc mid 20's

the cub racer (may its parts live on) 2.2 litre , rally motor and a 5 speed. mid 20's

all in the 75-80 mph range

One time when driving to Lime Rock for '02 Fest East several years ago I calculated the mileage on my '73tii, and it did an amazing 33 MPG!!!

There's nothing, absolutley "nothing" like a well-tuned tii...and that was running at about 75 to 80 mph on the highway all the way! I had a hard time keeping up with Juan Cardona's '74tii (now owned by Dr. John in VA)! It doesn't get any better! :-)
