Back to work on the touring

For those that track my 'blog' and knew about my youngest son's motorcyle accident, thanks for the concern. We have him home now so I can get back to work on the touring.

The pics below are not for the faint of heart. This is what happens when a non-driver pulls in front of a 20 year old on a Buell Lightening going 40 miles an hour.

Geezus Bill!

I just heard about this from Jonathan Maxson yesterday.....I'm glad he's coming through alright - though his future as a showgirl might suffer a bit.

....like you don't have enough stress already - right?

Sorry I've been outta the loop FAQ-wise!

WOW!

Count your lucky stars.

I now know I was far more fortunate in my accident.

There is something to be said for fenders.

Glad to hear he is back home.

Yikes, scray photos, Bill. Glad he's OK.

Just a question, what was he wearing? By the looks of his injuries, not very much, and certainly not any armour. Will you guys be shopping for proper motorcycle attire before he hops back on?

Al

ps - I lived through a BAD motorcycle crash which resulted in wrist/forearm surgery, but not a lot else. I was wearing full leathers, as I always do(did) when riding. If it wasn't for the right gear, I would have been a lot worse off.
