Hey anyone get together anymore? or are your guys even on here anymore? you still alive dang? wonderin if we still have breakfasts anymore im about to have one of the 6 02's that we own running after a blown head gasket! and when is the next 02 show? or are they basiclly all a joke on the west coast now?

We just had a get together last weekend at the Rubicon downtown. We are tring to get a crew together for the deutsches motorfest.

I live in St. Louis but I get out to Sac and San Jose to visit family when possible. Hopefully there is an 02 event during one of my trips. I'll check before coming out.

I'm a relatively recent new FAQer, but my car is up and running and I'd like to meet some other 02 enthusiasts. I have never seen another 2002 around town. Where are you guys?

im from rio linda. if you know barry, dang, and carl or others from the sac 02 club then all you need to do is ask! if you need parts let me know i have quite a few parts laying around. my father and i havent been around lately but im getting my white 75 back on the road after being down for a year (all beacause of lazieness and a blown head gasket) but you will see us back in the group and at the breakfasts (if we still have them anymore at crickets) in the near future!

Im in Rancho. Both Norm and Rob are in Midtown/downtown. Barry is in Fair Oaks. I do not see many 02 driving around either.

yea i know where all the guys in sac are! there is a few around town the last time i talked to barry which was about 6 months ago i think we had decided that there was about 48 02's is sacramento i have 6 of them! then there is one in elk grove with some unusal centerline rims that i would like to know where he got them from because they look really go on the car! we also have ali in rancho i believe, then we have carl in the pocket area, my father and i in rio linda, one in elk grove and one in rosemont that im trying to find out who owns those two cars

I'm in Citrus Heights but my deuce has not been on the road since 1982.

I'm working on it. I hope to have the paint all buffed out by next weekend.

I met Ali and Norm (and SteveK) at an autocross a month or two ago at Mather Field. I don't think I've met any other 02ers, unless some of you happened to go to Valley Motorwerks's one-year anniversary event (I didn't see any 2002s in the lot).

I'm trying man, I am soooooooooo sick of sanding.

I have about 2/3rds of it color sanded and about 1/2 of it polished out.

to be a "club" exactly - it's always been a kind of loose-knit group that gets together for one thing or another, from breakfast to caravans down to the Bay Area 02 Swap & Show. Part of what's kept it from becoming a really "organized" group is that at least some of us have a whole raft of other obligations from houses to kids to jobs and businesses that demand our time on weekends and evenings, so it's hard to get any kind of a consistent schedule established.

What we should be able to do is to establish an e-mail list so that notification of anything that's coming up will go out to everybody at once -I'll be happy to take on establishing an e-mail distribution list and adding folks to it as they turn up and want to be included.....
