Big e-brake problems

nealf

Recommended Posts

I went to pull my emergency brake up last night and I pulled an Incredible Hunk...literally...I somehow managed to really screw up the base and the brake. It has dislodged from the body. It appears to have been crudely welded or fixed somehow in the past. What can I do now to correct this? I have some photos to explain...

This is my '70 2800CS so a bit off topic.

Thanks,

nf

I feel your pain.

Looks like mine.

You can buy that part and have it welded in.

I haven't done it.......yet, but I'll have to.

Someone here, jnenvious,(?) maybe, emailed me about having the part.

That was back a month or so ago. $60, I think.
