Pics on the faq site

Load them from your camera into you computer.

Go to Photobucket.com and start up an account. It's free.

Once on, you can upload pics from your computer to your photobucket account. Once they are on there, you can copy the {option} link that is underneath your pic on photobucket and paste it into your message on the FAQ.

It must be pretty easy as even I can do it.

I have pics in the My Pictures part of My Documents - Assuming we're using Windows here. Make sure they are in j-peg format, which they probably already are, but it seems to help if they are named properly with the .jpg tag at the end.

Just another point here regarding proper file names - Never use periods in a file name EXCEPT to denote the file extension ie; .jpg , .doc. wpd. whatever. The extension tells the computer what kind of file it is. If you name a file my.file.car.picture, you confuse the computer. You probably know this, of course, but lots of folks don't.

OK, back to where we was. Down below the box where you type your posts is a field with a Browse button next to it. Click browse, go find the picture you want, then click the Open button. The file path and name will appear in the box. You can add comments in the bigger box below. Then click Add attachment. Assuming its an allowed file type like .jpg and is not too big, it'll work. Then click submit as usual.

It'll come out looking like the picture I added to this post.

read also the Add an Attachment stuff and follow the Allowed Extensions and sizes. It's all right below

There are instructions on how to do this somewhere else on this site too, I'm pretty sure.

If you must add huge pictures, you might have to do the photobucket, or other picture hosting service.
