Off to Mid Ohio - SVRA

The K&E crew is off to Mid Ohio early Wednesday morning. Got two 02's loaded on board. Skip Bryan's car and the inka 204 Skidmark car. Don't expect to do great. I really suck at learning new tracks (part of being an old guy). As usual, my intense competition in the blue and yellow car, Will Bonner, will be there and he has experience on the track so who know what will happen. Also, the new Skidmark 207 car (red with gold trim) should be there for its maiden voyage. There should be four o2's present in group 8. If you are there, stop by.... We are the big blue car transporter. Bret, the Rigmeister, will be with us.

Mid-OH.is a great track,although I haven't driven it since te repaving.I drove F.V.so I probably wouldn't be much help.Just be smooth or you'll chew up your L.side tires inthe Keyhole(which drops off about 2/3rds of the way through) and the Carousel.Thunder Valley is a blast.You'll love it

What a hoot!! I was amazed at how fast I learned the track. I've got a video that I'm in the middle of puting out on google. When it is done, I'll post it here.

Poor Will had rocker problems so the last day was just Skip Bryan and I. Skip did a heck of a job keeping up with me. Had a great race with a 911 and a 914/6. That will teach me not to be caught sleeping in the first lap.

Glad to hear that you had fun. It was great to see some 2002s out on track. Sorry I didn't make it over to say hi and introduce myself but I had my family there (3 kids - 2, 4 & 8 YO) and it was enough of a struggle just to watch the racing. I did catch a little of your pursuit of the 914/6... hopefully you'll be back next year.
