Pretty huge progress this weekend on the 73. I completely rebuilt the heater box, thanks to the FAQ, It went well. It is still a bunch of work, not quite rebuilding an automatic transmission, but a bunch of work none the less. Adjustment of the cables seemed to take forever. If your controls are getting sticky, it is well worth the effort. Of all the 02 I've owned, I've never had a heater work this well.

I also rebuilt the pedal box and got that installed, not quite 7 hours, but it is a project as well. Still having trouble getting the feed line from the brake fluid reservoir installed into the new clutch master, any hints would be appreciated.

Installed the bumpers as well, here is where we go back. The bumper location on the 73 just looks like shit. I keep trying to convince myself into likeing it but I don't. I have to drill the new fenders and quarters for the end mounting bolts, so I'd rather drill them once. So off they come and I order a set of 72 brackets, a bunch more work, but I'll be happy(er ) in the end.

Thanks to Chris and Paul for their Write ups, they saved me hours of frustration.

i got to rebuild my heater box last winter, and i bought a used core off ebay for $20. on full heat it's almost scalding hot!

also, can you list what parts you ordered to do the pedal box rebuild

i'd like to do that on mine pretty soon, cause i'm missing the spring on the clutch, and i need a new acclerator pedal bushing

Call Rob at 2002Haus. He can set you up a kit for all the bushings and springs for the pedal box rebuild for whichever car you have.

Not expensive at all.
