Since the posts are slow this weekend, I thought I'd share my 02 cents.

As many of you know I've been having transmission problems as evidenced by my many redundant posts. I "broke down" and bought a used 4speed tranny locally this weekend. When I went to pick it up there were several junked 02's and a bavaria with oem alloy wheels. I had my camera and was going to take some pics, but after 2 shots I got hurt....I was checking out the behr ac console on the red parts car when a swarm of bees attacked and I got stung on the hand...That cut short my visit... I'm going to have many questions in the next few weeks, and will probably need to buy parts from some of you....so I'll thank you in advance for your patience and help!

The colorado tii was restored and parked waiting for the owner to pick it up....that was 1989....he was a no show....

the mintgrun tii has been there for a few years...unfortunately it's not for sale...

That's just kind of sad to see those 02s just sitting there unused. What's the story with the Colorado? Is it for sale now? How has the restoration held up to the elements for the past 17 years? What a waste ...

17 years outside... and, from what i can tell, under a tree...

Good luck on that thing holding up. A restoration that never got used, but disintegrated nonetheless... how often does that happen?
