just curious about the roundtail sightings

I've recently posted for the first time:

And just wonder if I've ever been sighted?

Maybe I need to add car photos and info to my profile if folks are really interested.

What catches your eye... all 2002s or just specific models?

If I do decide to covert my automatic to a 5 speed, what is the proper protocol in regards to the 'automatic' emblem?

Image is of a steering wheel I love. Any info on this?

The reason I love these cars: this image alone says it all!

Hey mate,

Theres no real protocol - but usually people take it off. Someone (ive forgotten their name, sorry whoever it was!) made it into saying "not Auto" which is a funny idea! lol

The steering wheel is off the earliest model 02 (i think). You dont see them around very often.

I think you'll find that just any 02 will catch the eye of this bunch! I dont care if its a beater or a show car. If i see one driving around, im always stoked!

credit where credit is due ... the photo is courtesy of David Rose ... see here http://www.davidrose.us/DavidWebPage/2002tii/1973_2002tii/BMW2002on020202.html

funny thing was that i contacted david as he is an 02 enthusiast and lives nearby, once i saw this pic and found his website ... and upon closer insepction, we realized that the shot he took of his 73tii taken on 02-02-02 on rt 202, was taken almost outside of my house!

i also have a 73tii, so its good to have a fellow enthusiast nearby.

Karl.
