Yeah I need to see how much space I have with the carbon box (installed now -- it's got a mean intake growl!).

Dyno'ed it to set the alpha-n last week -- the 02 turbo exhaust is restricting the motor. Removed the wb exhaust sniffer from the tailpipe and gained 5 hp! Gonna go with 2 3/4" I think. You are going with 3", right?

Cheers,

Ray

Stop reading this! Don't you have anything better to do?? :P

I used Aardvarks - does a good job of walking you through the basics and unless you know your stuff is invaluable in wiring up the two looms. No experience of the other one though.

On the exhaust - I had a turbo style 2.25 exhaust and felt a seat of the pants improvement when it was upped to 2.5 inches. Some people recommend 3 inch exhaust for a warmed over 2.5 litre s14, but seeing as mine in currently a stock 2.3 litre I went with a 2.5 inch pipe.

Chris and I will vouch for Dave too.

After buying the book, we soon realized that we had hired a consultant as well. It was nice. Whenever Chris got really – really – stuck, he could call Dave up. Nice guy. Always answered any question and Chris never sensed any impatience.

No regrets,

Yeah, discussed it with the dyno guy, who had set up a bunch of S14's. We figured 3" might be too big for the street.

I'm away from the car now, so no picks for the time being. And my Sony camera has crapped out for no apparent reason this trip, anyway. I'll get some pics later.

Cheers,

Ray
