Oil pan baffle

Hey Ya'll,

Since I am replacing the oil pump in Lola, where can I get my hand on a oil pan baffle, that does not need to be bolted on?

Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean by 'bolted on'. Ireland Engineering makes a windage tray/baffle that fits in between your oil pan and the block, fitting around the crank that's quite nice, and helps prevent oil pump starvation in turns. But it 'bolts on' because it fits to the same bolts that the oil pan does...

...adding a baffle is not really needed unless your sustaining long duration-high G's, and sustainied high rpm's (Daytona banking).

The baffle I got from Ireland is a WELD in plate.

Don't expect "bolt in" to go in that easy. I've found that even the commercially available scrapers need some mods to make sure and have the right clearance, as well as have the holes line up.

Test fit many times first to make sure you're good to go before final installation.

I would reccomend this *only* on motors that are actually out of the car, trying to get it all done with the motor hangin' around and working in limited space is a PITA.
