gas pedal question ... again

Recommended Posts

maybe some one knows the answer to this:

it seems that my right work shoe is too wide to push the gas pedal to the metal, so I always end up using the tip of my foot to do it, but this only happens on one of my cars, the other one I can plant my foot wide, and it doesn't feel as constricted (I"ll investigate tomorrow).

Has anyone done a modification to move the brake/clutch pedal out of the way, there is just not enough space for my big old foot. Or maybe there are different pedal boxes?

When I originally bought my car, it came with modified pedals that were raised and shifted to the left. The po basically cut some metal aluminum stock and fabricated some risers and bolted them into the factory pedal assemblies. Each pedal was also individually tailored in height to the po and his driving requirements. I have since taken them off since it didn't work for me.

I bent the brake pedal closer to the gas

to make it easier to heel-toe.

So it should be easy to bend it the other way- I did have the pedal box out at the time...

It's not a converted automatic, is it?
