My 1600 not getting enough fuel when turning hard

The car seems to hiccup, sputter when I turn hard. I have an external electric fuel pump in back and a "Purolator" dial thingie (not its real name...) up front that is turned to its highest setting. Whats wrong?

put a fuel pressure gauge in- line after the regulator.

Then set the regulator to 2.5 psi.

See if that helps...

Also check you spark plug wires. Thought I had a fuel related problem when turning hard left. Found the problem after the wire fell off the plug completely.

I'd also double check your float level, it may be high enough to run, but low enough to cause a sputter under cornering or rapid take off.
