121 and E12 head Camshaft question

What do you gain by changing the camshaft...silly question, but I'd like to know since I have a e12 in the garage and a 121 in the car. anything else have to be changed along with the camshaft?

I have 2 extra cams from other E12 heads, a 292 and a 284 and was going to use them on my 121 if they work on it.. and it looks like they will

and you can get the larger intake valves installed on that 121 head if you take it to the machine shop.

Slim to none.. I think I'm going to use it on the 121, sorry.

And the 284 is going in my backup engine.
