black/green from starter?

There is a smaller gauge black/green wiring coming from the starter... where should it be going to? Currently putting things back together, and can't figure out the haynes diagrams..

I'm willing to launch a guess. It could run to the positive side of the coil, it would be the one that bypasses the ballast resistor ( if you're running one ) to provide full power to the coil when the starter is energized.
