Did more work on the dyno today

My advice to any body with dual carbs: Using a dyno to fiqure out your air/fuel mixture is well worth it. Today I change the pilot jets from 55f8 to 60f8 and our air/fuel mixture when from 20:1 to 13.2 on low speed tests. Also before, it would cough out the carbs when cold and now this has stopped. Yes!!

Those of you in clubs that have tech meetings, find a dyno and do some fine tuning. I realized today, that Im helping the overall driveablity, not just chasing maximum horsepower. Tomorrow I will take it off the dyno and do some test drives. I now have over 30% more power. This will be fun!! We will do some more pulls on Thursday when the temp goes down. I can't wait to see my new numbers. I also poured in 5 galloan of race fuel.

Can you post up a dyno sheet. Thanks. If no can you tell the peak hp and torque and RPM they occur. Ive never seen a dyno graph for the side drafts....Ive never looked very hard though either.
