Best source for sheet metal?? - floor pans, rockers, etc.

This may sound a bit backwoods, but I know a few guys who used sheet metal off of older (their thicker) appliances like washers & refrigerators for metal on their trucks. otherwise finding flat, undented sheetmetal will most likely be new. but I'd avoid enamel baked, cause you'll never get it clean enough to weld properly. If you dont mind used, it's a great source of large flat pieces. Nevermind Dan inka.. all his posts have been like that, I got one from him too.

Blunt's gonna hook it up with the rockers and I'm leaning twoards just getting some sheet metal and doin' some learnin'. Just bought a new welder & need some practice so there's no better way than to learn trial by fire. Anyway just about ANYTHING is better than the football sized hole I've got just below my feet - thank god for floor mats!

AD said they would have to order so I'm going to pass. I sent an email to the guy that makes E9 pans and if he's got them at reasonable prices I'll bite. Worst case I cut a few pieces of sheet metal that I bought at the local metal supply shop and start using that TIG.
