I'm trying to turn the corner on the 73 and get it on the road this summer. The body is done, exterior trim is about done, new carb, fuel tank cleaned and rebuilt, but this weekend I attacked the two major system left to finish.

I pulled out the pedal box, found the bushings worn, so I have to get some on the way, should get that together this week.

But that wasn't enough punishment, so I pulled the heater box out today, what a mess, a good 2 lbs of maple seeds and junk in the box, and everything is messed up. Heater valve cable is broken, the box is cracked, I think I'm going to head for the parts car and see if that one is any better.

I have to thank those on the faq for the write ups on both subjects, I've had them both out before on other cars, but usually with more work.

I'm thinkin that I may have mental deficiency to have both apart at once. Wish me luck.

Naw,

You are only an idiot if you mix parts from one project to the other upon reassembly.

Myself, I have my E30M3 in multiple states of disrepair. Interior, intake, exhaust, driveline & diff, both subframes, suspension, all pulled off of the car. It's been on jackstands for a year now...I think.

I just hope I can remember how it all goes back together...eventually.
