a few days ago, i was at roy roger import auto parts picking up some new wheel cylinders and noticed they sell nice chrome VW wheels...

they were similar to the stock steelies but more rounded in the center and would require a center cap like a "moon" center cap....and were available in 14", 15" & 16"....i didn't ask the price but am considering a set of those in 14"...i think the "crome reverse" look might be bitching with my fuzzy dice and brick veneer trunk boards

15x7 0 offset and like a hundred bucks a wheel. Look like panasport but without the price.

www.technotoytuning.com to pick up a set or if you have a Kaufman tire around they can get them.

I've got a set of 15X7 4X100 genuine AC Schnitzer Type II wheels: 24mm offset, E30 hub centerhole. I was told they bolt right up to a 2002, but I don't know. Bought by a friend in 1998 for a Euro 323 restoration but never used. Never mounted on a car, but I did mount new 225/50X15 Michelin Pilot Exaltos on'em, then sold my E30 so never mounted them on the car. Wheels and tires are brand new. I can mail pics of the wheels, but can't post'em here because my digital camera's defunct. $1350.00 OBO. PM me if you're interested.

I believe the 15x7 0 offset is only offered in 4x114 bolt pattern so it won't work on our cars. The 15x7 that is offered in 4x100 is 40mm offset and doesn't have the nice lip.

The website you posted is for Toyota Ae86 fans and they use 4x114.

Miata guys also have bought their wheels from there. 15x7 0 offset 4x100. A local guy has them around here.

If you have flares and want a pretty good sized dish/lip, check these out:

O offset and 15x8 - SportMax wheels - $99 each

Does anyone know or have experience with these wheels on the street and on the track? Are they reliable/strong? It had been stated before, at $99/wheel you get what you pay for, but I too, have Schnitzer flares and am looking for an affordable/ track wheel that won't break.

That's a big jump for Miata guys going from 40mm offset to 0 offset. Are those guys running flares or are the wheels sticking out and rubbing? Either way, it can't be too good on the wheel bearings.
