I got my caliper in from Ireland Engineering yesterday. Woohoo! So I put it on, and pressure bled the system only to find a puddle under the pedal box. Bummer! This was never a problem before, and now it leaks about a drop every 10 seconds untill the reservoir drained below the line for the clutch. How did it go bad so quick?

I still have some air in the brake system, and a new clutch MC on the way with a slave cyl. on back order. I read the archives tips on bleeding, hopefully it will work out. Any tips on replacing the clutch master, slave, and bleeding them?

There might have been a breach in your old caliper. And when that was replaced and sealed up the pressure will find any vulnerable area where it might leak. Pressure on a weak seal will force it to "pee". Replacing the clutch master is fairly simple. About an hour and can be a little tricky. Get a bottle bleeder if you don't have a partner. Put it on and pump clutch a time or two and it's done. Real easy to bleed. I havent done my slave yet but I have heard it can be a beotch.

Ok, thanks for the advice. I have a pressure bleeder, and did the same thing with the brakes. The air in the brake MC went up into the tube that supplied brake fluid from the bottle. It seemed like it might affect proper bleeding, does it? The brakes pedal was stiller mushy afterwords, and since the clutch is out I can't just test drive it, any more suggestions? Thanks again.
