headlight switch wiring

Does anyone have a headlight switch wiring diagram that they could post or send me?

Here's what happened. Started it up and turned on headlights to drive home from class tonight. Smoke started billowing out from under dash. Turned off lights and ignition and quickly opened hood and disconnected battery. Pulled gauge cluster and removed light switch. The wire coil inside the switch (I think its for dimming the dash lights) was broken and hanging out, and the white wire coming out of the back of the switch was badly melted and exposed. I had to leave the car there and get a ride home. I will not be able to get to the car until tomorrow (Tuesday) evening. I may need to jumper the lights to turn them on. Which wires need to be connected?

is at home; also advise as to whether this is a 6 fuse or 12 fuse 71...the wiring colors are somewhat different between the two...

The 12 fuse has 2 rows of fuses right? Mine just has one small fuse box with one row of fuses. I think Its a 6 fuse. thanks.
