Does anybody have description or pictures of brake/clutch box for a mechanical clutch?

There appears to be a stop for the clutch pedal to keep it from moving back toward the driver. Any info would help.

There's a metal tang that's either part of the bottom of pedal or part of the box to act as a stop for the pedal. It wears down after time and that's why the clutch pedal doesn't align with the brake at it's rest position. If the clutch, pres plate, and t/o bearing are mechnically sound, the linkage is lubricated/not binding (due to a bent linkage, damaged linkage bushings, or rusted driver's frame rail), it is really not a problem.

If your life is dull, perhaps your car is too new and you're not driving far enough...

It is basically a metal loop tack welded to the botom of the pedal box. Mine was bent back (towards the front of the car) so the clutch pedal popped back towards the driver past the thottle and brake. My temp fix was to bend it back and run a bolt through the loop and throught the bottom of the pedal box. Eventually I am going to convert to a hydraulic.
