I was driving home late last night from the girlfriends and the street lights disappeared as did the cars around me so to illuminate my path i (push once) clicked my headlights full beam to on (blue 'F' dash light came on), as normal,.. all fine.

A few miles down the road/lane car approached, so as normal, i clicked the stork back towards me (one click) onto main/dipped beam, except this time it clicked as normal but the beam didnt go down.. and the blue light stayed on.. so i now have full beam on all the time via both the click positions/on any click level, all except the 'one flash' pull towards driver position - so if i pull the stork setting towards me to say flash a car during the day it beams to main/dipped position for as long as i hold it - so not good for any safe long time night driving..

i havent opened her up yet (im at work today) but i was wondering does it sound like a click/switch issue or will the whole stork need to be replaced?

thanks in advance ;)

relay was stuck in the on position--either remove the relay's cover and clean the points, or buy a new relay...BTW, if you have a roundie, there are no high beam relays unless a PO has added one...in which case you have a melted high beam switch...

The relays you want to check are the 3 just above the battery. They're all the same so switch around and see if that solves the high beam only problem.
