Hi .I have been looking for a set of aftermarket wheels and cannot seem to find anything in a 15x5.5 or 6 or a 16x6 with a 4x100mm bolt pattern. I do not want panasports. All the wheels I see are 15x7 or 16x7 or 8 way to big.Where could I go to see who actually has wheels available in anybrand. Now before you think there are no such wheels .I have found some but the pattern is off a little. I have found the porsche alloy in a 16x6. I have found the 2003 ford focus factory mag there are 3 styles but are to also in a 16x6 version.Alpina 16x6 1st generation . For the 15 inchers.Every wheel new is a 15x7 and if Im lucky maybe a 15 x 6.5". Iam trying to stay with 6" or less so I do not have to modify the fender lips or add bubble flares. Can anybody HELP.

with tire fitment. If you check the specs on the tire that you plan to use, the manufacturer will have a range of recommended wheel widths. As long as you stay in that range, you'll be OK.

What you need to pay attention to (once you decide profile of the tire you want to run), is the offset of the wheel. The problem with most aftermarket wheels is that their offset is for FWD rice rockets (ET40 - ET45) and if you plan on running anything much wider than a 185/70 tire, you'll get rubbing. Spacers of course will help move the tire outboard (reduce the offset), but in a perfect world, spacers should be avoided.

So what size of tire do you want to run? FWIW, 205/50-15 with an ET30 wheel is a near perfect fit. I did have to roll the fender lips, but that is the biggest tire you can fit under a 2002 without going to flares.

Cheers!

I think the new mini's run 16x5½. You'll want to check the centerbore, I think the Mini's are quite small in that respect... if it's too small you could have a machine shop bore it out.

The first generation E21 Alpina wheels were 15x6 or 15x7. The second generation E30 wheels were 16x7.

I have a set of MSW Type 2 wheels that are 15x6 with an ET 33 offset as well as having a 4x100 bolt pattern. These are period correct and were sold by Miller & Norburn, Korman Autoworks, and the Tire Rack back in the late 70's and early 80's. They are a basketweave/ mesh design. Let me know if you are interested.
