As usual, it was a fantastic FoS this year. F1 cars,Le Mans, modern and classic machinery all withing licking distance.Borrowed these pics from a friend,as my digi camera batteries died very quickly. If you like them, i may be able to "liberate" a few more in the near future.

And this all happens 25 miles from my house!

Gosh that 02 looks in excellent condition. Did you manage to get any more snaps of it? (or other 02s for that matter?)

Thanks for sharing.

TOMMY!

Have a look on a thread about Alpina paints a few days ago... there was a link to a flickr site that had pics of it. It is immaculate!

goodwood is on my list of events to see when we win the lottery!

i'm hoping SPEED channel will show some coverage of goodwood 06 eventually, but trusting them to show anything other than car auctions and nascar is futile any more.

I was right next to Alain de Cadenet as he was doing some reporting to camera.I seem to recall he works for Speed channel a fair bit.

He was incredibly knowledgable, just picking cars he liked and knew about, asking owners and teams if they would roll them out of the paddock position so as to get a clear shot of them, and rattling off an amazing amount of factual racing knowledge of said cars, a true enthusiast, driver and now presenter.
