Is this a common area for this type of problem on the '02?

The bottom of the spare tire bay is solid-just light surface rust that looks worse than it is

Is this a pretty easy fix for a body shop and how would they repair the areas?

The rest of the car is rust free and really nice (not a show car)

The holes in the wheel well are certainly the norm - have a look round the forum for pictures, plenty of 02ers on here have had to fix theirs. Not sure about the one by the tank though.
