Best used with a bigger cam, 284 or 292. A stock setup will drown with all that fuel. Beaner7102

what is the advantage over a 32/36 on a stock engine, if any?

totally stock, 140K mile '69 several years ago with no issues other than minor jetting changes - drove the car from northern CA to Colorado and back with no problems (other than failure of the original fuel pump), excellent power and very good milage (high 20's at 85+ for extended periods).

Have since gone through the engine (284 cam, 9.1 compression, etc), still on the same carb (minor jetting changes to compensate for the mods), no complaints.
