I've seen bosch, kingsbourne (sp?), any others, differences, opinions on them is one superior to the other? I have a blue coil, will that be okay for powering the 8mm plug wires?

Thanks

i've got a set of 8mm Accel universal plug wires on my car now. i needed something quick, and they had those locally. it was a hassle cutting them and such to the right length.

but i like the way they fit tightly on the plugs, using the little plug nubs, and not just dangling loosely like the Bosch stock wires.

They work fine with the blue coil. I have no idea if there's any better performance with them.

I just bought a set from the local auto store, they were bosch, i bought them as individual lengths (to match what i had) only thing was you need the screw on knobs that come with the plugs and a pair of needle nose pliers to push them on the plugs all the way. No noticeable lack or gain in performance. Beaner7102

I have the Accels also. If your coil is not already placed close to the dizzy you will have to move it back close to it so the coil wire will reach.

I got my last set from BMP and they came with a plastic wire loom. Had to fab a couple of clips to attach the loom to the valve cover ( used large elec. conduit straps with one leg bent around) and I've been satisified with the set.
