Is all that is in a weber rebuild kit gaskets and some o-rings? One of my webers is getting stuck. I took it off and gave it a very good cleaning around the throttle plates which fixed the issue for about a week. It is back to sticking again. I think I need to start taking things apart, and wanted to know if the weber rebuild kits had any shafts, screws, or springs in them?

The items you're asking about are probably not in the std. rebuild kit, but, if you go to Pierce Manifolds website they have excellect cutaway drwgs. of Weber carbs and you can contact them about what you think you might need.

how about trying a bottle of "carb tune-up and conditioner."?

its a lube that you spray all over the throttle plates while the car is idling.

Did that and it helped a bit with the sticking, but not enough. I had to remove the weber and clean it. I didn't remove the throttle plates or throttle spindle. I think that maybe from one of the weber diagrams I just downloaded that possibly the bearing or o-ring is worn out and needs refreshing.

When you reassemble the carb, dont over tighten the nut that holds the linkage bracket on, it should be finger tight and use the locking tab (bent over the nut) to secure it. If that nut is too tight it will cause binding. Beaner7102
